But thats the problem, I dont find it enjoyable either when a topic gets closed just because its a little extreme, I really disagree with the topic being closed but my rant is already on the staff section about wanting that re opened.  Extreme heated debates are healthy, both people speak their minds, get to learn about others opinions and believes and etc..    I also dont find it fun when four mods have to go in the same topic acting against one another like ive seen at times, its just not fun at all, doesnt need to be professional boring, but this is just annoying rather than .  Cant be fun when staff are constantly in  disagreements

I've not yet formed a cabinet because I have been busy with changes.

But that shouldn't be a problem, I can do that at some point soon, maybe, for now things should still be discussed and voted on by councillors.

Topics which involve religion end up going off track because there are people on both extreams, I don't think I've seen any other topics where discussion has gotten way out of hand, the only ones that do are ones that conflic with religion, such as ones about homosexuality.

Personally, I don't see a need to close a topic unless it gets too far out of hand or someone complains about it, a forum is for sharing views and with sensitive issues, there are going to be some heated opinions.

I'd rather the forum was enjoyable rather than profesional.

As of lately I have noticed that the staff at the DBZF section (yes I include myself as well, so no one can say im making myself exception)  has been acting rather unprofessional in my opinion.

1.A topic being closed when there was no need especially after having two super mods, an administrator, and an assistant administrator going through the topic and not closing it, after everyone had agreed to stop already with the off topic, even though a lot of the things with religion had to do with defending the view or going against he view of homosexuality

2.Two mods say something, then a third comes in to say it, then a fourth comes in to tell the third mod to drop it.

Why is that an issue?  It shows how every staff member is in a complete different page it shows to the members unprofessional standards as well as showing as well as showing a loop hole in the staff, a weakness I say.  It's a big weakness when staff demonstrate they are disagreeing with each other in terms of moderation and what their fellows are doing (this will always happen, but there is no need to show the members)

My suggestions:

When a topic is getting off topic  PM the members, tell them to stop getting off topic, after in which you split the posts into a new topic, and leave a warning saying, if there is so many so so people responding off topic this will be closed.  Posts have been split, warning has been issued on the topic,  members should know action was taken, especially those involved since they were pmed. No mod should say this would be too much work, because honestly if you think like that you shouldn't be a mod to begin with in my opinion.

As for issue number two, mods start pming each other way more often rather than posting on topic, or go to the staff section and make a post so all staff members can see but not the members.

I believe this would create more professionalism and a lot better forum nature

This should be made understood to all staff members, minus Kyonko since hes the main administrator and therefore must show that he has the authority to command the staff

Well, thought I'd say both welcome back and congratulations to the Dictatorship, Kyonko and his cabinet. Have a good session, whilst my shadow cabinet and I dog your every step and seek to wrest power at any moment with a bloody revolution. Of the bloody kind.

Good luck! Cheesy

Sorry I've not posted yet, I've been quite busy.

Aye, I agree with the new layout. I still think that Parliament belongs on the main forum, but if money's being made, be as well keeping it here. And yeah, I would appreciate the keeping of the Shadow Office, as it will probably be in use this term.

I just have one more question. Will the Shadow Office still be there? Or, are we getting rid of that?

Otherwise, I'm satisfied with this set-up.  Smiley
