i specifically used http://dictionary.reference.com/ to make sure the word queer would fit everyone's hard core definition of what it says in a dictionary. Because the word queer is defined as;

strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different; singular: a queer notion of justice.
2. of a questionable nature or character; suspicious; shady: Something queer about the language of the prospectus kept investors away.
3. not feeling physically right or well; giddy, faint, or qualmish: to feel queer.
4. mentally unbalanced or deranged.

I felt that the word was appropreate. It was used properly and in percise context without describing homosexuality. You may have connected the term to homosexuality due to the prevous use of gay - but i assure you it was entire unrelated.

Kyonko does not belive that I used the term queer (instead of my previous use of gay) as a general term as defined by the dictionary.com website.

I would like to formally request that the warning be removed because I did not use the term queer as a negative homosexual term. I used it as the definition fit, and was unable to defend my case only because Kyonko does not believe me, and had made up their mind.

1) You are not banned.

2) It's a verbal warning, not an official warning.

3) You think the idea of parliament is stupid so it's ironic that you came to parliament just to mention this.

Now to explain why you got the verbal warning in the first place.

You used the word "gay" at the start of the topic, people wheren't too happy with your choice of adjective, so you then used the word "queer", now it's kind of hard to imagin that you just happend to use the word queer without thinking of linking it to the word gay. There are many other words you could have used.

Since you used gay to mean bad or stupid, queer is the wrong word to follow up with, as you can see it does not mean either of those, you used 2 diffrent words that are only linked by the definition of homosexual.

You are trying to cause trouble, that's the reason for your verbal warning.

It's as clear as day.

I agree with Kyonko. There are a variety of other words you could have used yet you chose one (the only one I'm guessing) that can also be linked to homosexuals.

The verbal warning is used to notify somebody they're causing trouble (which I believe you were) and to advise them to stop. This reaction to your post is just, in my opinion.

Also, there's no warning to remove as a verbal warning is pretty much an unofficial warning.

You see, you said you used it to mean stupid and queer does not mean stupid, as you just proved yourself with the definition.

But why couldn't you use the word "strange" or "odd"?

Why did you have to go and use the word "queer", when there was already a fuss about you using the word "gay"?

It was a verbal warning...

If you didn't tell us about it no one but you or Kyonko would be aware of it...

Basically a verbal warning is used to let people know that if they continue down that path they MAY receive a warning.

As long as you are careful with your choice of words you will be fine, however if you feel a warning is unjustified you can appeal it but this is usually only for warnings that increase your warn level, not verbal ones.

There isn't even really anything to remove ^^;

If you have any other problems though you can also PM any of the staff about it.

Uhm, its a verbal warning you cannot remove A Verbal Warning. I suggest you understand why and prevent yourself from making another one and having it made official. Arguing isn't getting you anywhere when you have someone telling you broke a forum rule. Just make sure it doesn't happen again and it'll be like nothing happened.
