Been in discussion on the forum for a while now, so now we put it to parliament (no cabinet ministers yet, thought I'd wait)

My proposed name: DebateZ Forum (keeps the dbzf domain)

So your thoughts? This is for discussing names and proposed sections, so no repertition of what's been said on the topic.

But, hmm. I like the name, personally. Debate is basically another synonym for "talk", which is pretty much the main point of an online forum. So, I agree with the name.

As for sections, that's kinda hard to say at the moment...

But, one thing I can say is that I really don't think there should be so many, or too many subforums. They're hard to keep track of, and some really don't have the appropriate attention they deserve.

I kinda would like to see the Superstars section go, since I really don't know that many members who actually pay attention to Cybernations. I would like to see Parliament in it's place, but that probably won't happen.

I would also kinda like to see the DBZF Elections go too for now, until the time for them to come is around again. Now that elections are over, it's just sitting there...

But, I would like to see the sections we have stay, except for the Dragonball parts. If Dragonball is no longer the main focus of the forum, then I really don't see any need to keep the sections besides discussion. Heck, that can be a subforum.

As far as Anime and Manga go, I don't think there should be a "specific anime" or "specific manga" section. I would just want to keep them vague, so people don't have to go through the trouble of putting Nartuo / Bleach topics in a whole different subforum.

Other than that, I would be satisfied with the staple forums that are usually in a forum, such as Introductions, Fan work, and Forum Discussion.

You said that we're going to be a community forum and considering the name you chose, we can be a community forum based on or just with a lot of debatable topics. So i think the name you suggested will be fine.

The Superstars category holds the Elite and Legend sections, I may also move Donator section to there, it's pretty much just special user forums, I can remove the cybernations section though, that's no problem.

Specific anime/manga sections where for things that where discussed greatly but they have died down (I'm keep the TMoHS one because FFF)

Election sections I keep meaning to hide but get lazy, I'll do that when changing everything.

Green, all current sections will stay and some being more visible, like Video Games and Sports.

So, would you be willing to just allow them to lump into the discussion of Anime / Manga? I really don't see many topics posted there nowadays. Despite how popular Naruto and Bleach may be.

Wouldn't Cartoons and TV shows be basically the same thing? Couldn't you just make a TV forum and put those as subforums?

TV is in entertainment as a sub-forum isn't it?

Entertainment would just come out as a catagory and all former sub-forums of it wouls be forums.

The names given to all of these are up for discussion, as well as locations and such. Showoff in creative is very repetative.

Looks fine to me.
I think the Goodbye section is ok.

I don't think the post count should be added to the "post your..." section. Getting +1 for typing something like the name of the song you're "listening" to.

I don't see anything wrong with this set-up. At first I thought it was it was a little too much for a forum, but then I remembered it's a community forum.

Anyway, I agree with Goodbye not being there. It's not really necessary, and it could just be merged with Introductions, if it must be there.

For "Post Your...", I don't think a post count should raise because of that. Ryanson (or whoever said it) was right. All people have to do is put down what they're listening to, basically. It's not a post, and it's an easy way to climb up there. Besides. I like it being a forum where I can post one line and not feel  bad.

I just have one more question. Will the Shadow Office still be there? Or, are we getting rid of that?

Aye, I agree with the new layout. I still think that Parliament belongs on the main forum, but if money's being made, be as well keeping it here. And yeah, I would appreciate the keeping of the Shadow Office, as it will probably be in use this term.
